Enjoyed the Skid Burger very much. Nice environment too. Will be returning soon.
Side note, the chicken for the Buffalo fries and sandwiches are made fresh from scratch. Nom nom nom -

Do y'all have taste buds? Based on the reviews, I was expecting a delicious burger. This is the worst burger I've had in my entire life.
I ordered the LA burger. The meat patty has no flavor! It had no seasoning at all. Would it kill them to add a little salt?
The rest of the burger was sponsored by Kraft. Definitely kraft singles for cheese and Kraft thousand island dressing. Although I love those products, I was expecting more from an $8 burger.
So disappointed. -

Came here 5 years ago with my Wife and we loved it. Been wanting to come back so I brought my brother literally a few hours ago. Probably never coming back. The guy attending/taking orders was probably stoned or drunk or both. Don't know if he was the manager. He was super loud and awkward. The girl cooking was clearly hired because of her "looks" and revealing top. Food tasted pretty plain and you can tell the kitchen probably wasn't her thing. The burger was presented and tasted like some random burger you eat at someone's cookout that doesn't know how to grill. The buffalo fries were amazingly prepped wrong. Maybe i know to much about cooking and food but man, YOU DONT PUT THE CHEESE LAST!
Everyone has to speak loud cuz the music is loud for no reason. Maybe it's the NIGHT CREW that is this bad. Whatever it was, I left super unsatisfied. Also you have to guess what the prices are because... THE MENU HAS NO DAMN PRICE ON IT! -

This is one of the best burger spots in LA, PERIOD....and the crazy part is it's away from the la traffic . Conveniently located in downtown Downey with abundance of parking! Their homemade dressings for their juicy burgers and hot buffalo chicken fries are so good. Large portions too. The girls behind the counter are nice and the cooks are amazing in making sure our food was done correctly. Will be back try stuff myself with a different sandwich next time .

Located in a busy area one street north of Firestone and behind Porto's. Parking was easy to find in a free parking structure nearby...couldn't find any street parking.
It is a very small place with a minimal, street vibe design to the interior. There is some outdoor seating as well. Good music was being played and I might be showing my age but it was too loud for comfortable inside dining and ordering. The lady taking my order was friendly and the food was ready in a timely manner.
We got the LAX Burger and East Los Burger. They are on the pricey side (around $9) but as soon as you bite down into the burger you taste the quality meat that is used...both were good but we agreed that we liked the East Los Burger better. We also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Fries. We both agreed that this was not only a bit expensive at $11 but more importantly just not very good.
